Air passengers at Newcastle Airport can fly from as part of a ‘Brexit special’.

Ryanair is cutting the cost of flights to mark the triggering of Article 50.

But, while Brexit talks are set to last for two years, anyone wanting to take advantage of the price slash will have to move quickly.

The budget airline has launched a huge seat sale to 50 different destinations all over Europe.

The seats will be valid for travel in April and May and will end on Thursday at midnight.

So whether you’re celebrating the separation with a final cheap holiday or booking yourself a heartbreak trip away, it’s prime time to bag a bargain.

Those that want their last taste of Europe can book their discounted seats direct from the Ryanair website or Ryanair app that can be downloaded from Google Play for Android and Apple iTunes.

Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: “The countdown to Brexit has begun and we’ve launched an ‘Article 50 special’ with seats on 50 UK routes on sale for just for travel in April and May.

“This amazing offer will end at midnight tomorrow [Thursday] so customers should log on quickly and plan their own exit from the UK today.”

Examples of flights available from Ryanair on Wednesday were flights from Newcastle to Dublin on May 1 and Wroclaw, Poland, on April 30.
